Bio
Alejandra is a Mexican actress and dancer fluent in Spanish, English and French based in Los Angeles, CA. She is a graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in LA and New York City where she lived for four years.
Her recent credits include; Mariella, a loving woman visiting her grandmother at a living facility house in Don't Ever Get Old at the semi-finals of the Short and Sweet Latino in LA. Rosa, a captive young woman in the feature film Linea de Sangre. Jane, a teenager with Aspergers syndrome
in the short film Stars, Planets and Then There's Jane; winner for Best Film and Best Screenplay at the 5th Annual Senior Film Festival of The Cinema School.
Off-Broadway credits include; Anita, a tipsy widow in mourning at the Ars Nova Theatre. Gloria, a quirky and annoying dentist patient from a Dentist Story at the 777th Theater. Bertha, a sassy and vindictive girlfriend in I am Woman at the June Havoc Theater for the Actor's Project NYC.
She recently filmed Wunderlist, a spec commercial for the NYU, and Betya, a German App Commercial .
Her most outstanding roles include, Yerma, a depressed and submissive wife by Federico Garcia Lorca directed by Dr. Roxana Stuart. Yalova, an abused Muslim daughter from the socially conscious play If my Mother had a Boat directed by Dan Daily. Mary Castrilly, a tough and spitfire police chief in Foggy Dew at the Venus and Adonis Festival in New York City. Jane Dormer, a courteous Spanish catholic lady at the New York Renaissance Faire. And Maria Londono, a visionary and fair Mexican screenwriter in The One Less Traveled By film written by Luke Bond.

Alejandra is thrilled to announce that "Don't Ever Get Old" written by Myrna Aguilar and directed by Carlos Carrasco made it to the People's Choice Semi-Finals as part of the Short and Sweet Latino. Alejandra performs alongside the talented actors Licia Alonso, Julie Briggs and Rochelle Newman.
